I spent a week here. As a geologist I travel all the time and often well off the beaten path. This motel ranks as one of the nastiest I have been in. Dirty, foul smelling with furniture that looks like it was picked up off the curb before trash day, the roof leaked and water pooled in the hall. It stank of mold and mildew. It once was a nice place but the owners are no longer able to keep up with it. Usually you only see this kind of filth in places run by people from India (not PC? tough - thats reality and thats the culture of India). I stayed on the lower level. Perhaps the rooms in the upper level in the front are nicer. Mine was like something out of a flop house. The owner is sweet lady, but the hotel is a dump.
"M's Motel" is near by - it looked like a biker dump too. Lots of noise, drunks yelling in the middle of the night and they grilled out in the parking lot. It was like a little "Trailer Trash Fair". The Cheyenne had better clientele - mostly hunters out for Turkeys.
