Yokozuna Yale

We usually love eating here! Unfortunately we ordered take out and the experience all around wasn’t good. We arrived to pick up our food and it wasn’t clear where to go. Then once we arrived at the bar to pay, it took the bartender quite awhile to even acknowledge we existed. After we paid, we awkwardly stood around for at least another 15 minutes to get our food. The saddest part was opening our food a mere five minutes later at home to discover cold, old tasting food. Our sushi was fine, but our favorite sweet & sour chicken was cold, with barely any rice that appeared to be old/mushy. All that to say, this was my birthday dinner and one that was definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend take out to anyone.

This place has a nice atmosphere, the food is made pretty fast, I dont have to wait to be seated much, the sushi is really good, and they have a good selection of food for non sushi eaters.
