My family made the mistake of hiring Chuck Wade to serve as probate attorney for my grandfather's estate. As of 12/12/2016 it has been over 3 years since my grandfather has passed and Chuck has still not completed the estate. In our opinion he is the most incompetent attorney I have every dealt with. He will not communicate with the family on the progress of estate settlement. You have to chase him down to speak with him. He does not provide updated information on estate billing unless asked - and when he does the fees are outrageous. He also does not maintain notes of conversations that he bills for so that you have no idea on what was discussed. Hire someone else, anyone else other than the firm of Wade and Mackey for your probate assistance.
