I made an appointment with Dr. Medina through a referral from my regular doctor. I showed up for my appointment with my 3 month old in a car seat, because I had no one available to watch her for me. I was told by the front desk lady that I was not allowed to be seen, because my child was not allowed to come to the room with me. I said it would've been nice to know this policy before I came in and the front desk lady said "Well did you ask when you called to make an appointment?" I said I could somewhat understand, because children can be rowdy and make it difficult to actually see the doctor. She then informed me that my daughter couldn't go back with me because of their privacy policy. Um my daughter can't even talk yet, i'm not sure how she is supposed to violate my privacy rights, which should be up to me if I want to allow her in there or not. This place was a joke and if you have children (which many of us do), be prepared to leave them out front or do not bring them with you. I have never heard of such a practice.
