Spectrum Imaging

My husband was in an auto accident that was not his fault and the insurance company of the at fault driver had agreed to cover any and all medical bills. Due to my husband's injuries he needed and MRI and since he has claustrophobia, we chose spectrum because they have an open MRI. When we first scheduled, Bree asked for the contact information of the insurance adjuster. We supplied her with that information and my husband was delayed a week while she tried to figure out how bill the auto insurance. I had spoken to our adjuster as well as Bree and his statement always was that they would cover the entire cost. When my husband arrived at his appointment today, he was once again harrassed by the office staff about insurance coverage. He had to call the adjuster again and let them talk to him. The office manager proceeded to yell at the adjuster on my husband's cell phone asking about deductibles and such. Once again, he had to explain to them that there are no deductibles in personal injury insurance. They just need to send him the bill and the insurance would cover the entire cost. They were not satisfied with this answer and in order to get the scan done, my husband had to file it with his personal health insurance, pay a $90 copay and be reimbursed by the insurance company for the cost of the scan. This is ridiculous! If you have anything other than a normal medical inquiry, do not go here. Their office staff need to be educated in personal injury insurance.
