ProTech Transmission

Pro Tech Transmission had my car on three separate occasions for the same problem. After getting ripped off by another mechanic I was referred to Pro Tech by a friend. I was quoted a price that was more than reasonable and I was assured that Paul would take care of me. Paul rebuilt my transmission and did give me a discounted price. But My transmission has not worked right since. Each time I brought my car back for THE SAME PROBLEM it took Paul between two and four weeks to get me my car back. This car is my business and I lost over $2500.00 in down-time. Each time I got my car back it had the same problem and worse. It wouldn't shift, or it made a strange whining noise and wouldn't shift properly. After the third time bringing my car to him to fix the problems that was supposed to be covered under his warranty he told me that he would not honor his warranty or stand by his work. He also told me that he put used parts in my transmission. As of the date of this review I found that my car would not shift into overdrive and would not go into fourth gear. My business has suffered greatly without this vehicle and he has cost me more money in lost hours and vehicle down-time. I will never use Pro Tech Transmission again.

From the moment I walked in I felt like I was a valued customer.. Like they really wanted to earn my business in a genuine way. The customer service was excellent. I met Paul and speaking with him I left with the impression that I could trust him and his team with my vehicle. They fixed my engine misfire and the price was reasonable (they say they'll beat anybody's price). I didn't do any shopping around however, visiting Angie's List showed a price range for engine misfire repairs.. so I felt I wasn't ripped off at all. I'd definitely recommend this place. I'm happy I've found a go-to automotive repair shop. I had tried 2 repair shops in Coweta and neither showed that they wanted to earn my business (one guy told me he was going on vacation and the other guy said call me on Monday which I did ((and Tues too)) and he never responded back). I'll never try them again. Thanks!
