This review is from Lori Daugherty and Bill Powers has worked on my 1920's home on 3 different occasions for large remodeling projects: an entire kitchen remodel, an attic was converted to a bathroom, bedroom, game room and storage areas, and recently he built a new pool room and gorgeous pool. He always has great workable ideas so he's much more than just a construction company. I have always had great experiences with Bill and his workers. I would highly recommend Bill and will use him again when the opportunity presents itself at my home.
This review is from Steve Daugherty. Bill was recommended to me in the early '90's by a guy with Transok, that complimented the work Bill had done. Using him to knock out 3 walls on a ranch style house kitchen project was a cinch for him. It made that house much more open and wonderful. The next project was in Historic Tulsa home that was built in '28. Preserving the integrity and adding value, every dollar was spent wisely in a great refurb noted above by Lori.
More recently, I bought a house close to Philbrook but before I bought it, Bill advised me on other potential homes to help me hone a good remodel possibility. His understanding of structure and "bang for the buck" helped me decide on which had more potential. I am glad I did.
For this 1930 home, we added 1,000 square feet, moved 4 walls, changed out dozens of appliances, added floors, air systems, water and sewerage lines, etc., Bill kept me advised as to every detail in what was transpiring, why, and what the costs were...We had multiple meetings on budget items and kept costs in check. More importantly, my home was cared for and remodeled by a stellar cast of carpenters and work crew that not only were careful, but cleaned up their messes (Bill made sure of that), did not steal anything, and were very trustworthy in their work detail - no shortcuts.
His workers' attention to detail in all respects, including very tricky crown moulding was nothing short of intensely precise. Can you get someone to quote cheaper? Probably. Someone to quote higher? Definitely. Bill's pricing is reasonable and the installation (as in windows that need a high degree of expertise on the install) was over the top. Thanks Bill, for the chance to finally offer praise on a project that continues to make me smile each day.
