Opus Prime

My wife and I were here for our second anniversary on Tuesday, April 11th. We had enjoyed the meal (she had Alaskan King Crab legs and I the New York Strip steak, we both had shared our sides of garlic mashed potatoes and parmesan risotto). We had enjoyed the ambiance and we have no qualms with our waiter, Daryl treated us very nicely. But afterwards when we got home the night took a sharp turn. Just about two hours later my wife started to experience strong stomach pains shortly followed by diarrhea. It did not get any better from there. The stomach pains increased to a crippling pain and the diarrhea continued. This went on for twelve hours without any relief. My wife was still feeling dehydrated and weak until two days later. We have contacted management, it took us until Friday afternoon to get a hold of them. They were sorry my wife was sick but do not believe it was their fault. Random things happen, I understand that there are always risks with shellfish and seafood in general, but for this to happen on our anniversary at such a refined establishment was just such a disappointment. A simple apology would have sufficed.
