I just had a 5 speed transmission rebuilt the estimate was 750 to 1100 the only reason I took it there was I put a used transmission in with a PTO it made lots of noise when the PTO was engaged thought it wasn't shimmed right or had a bearing out. We'll they called me after they tore it apart and the bid went up to 2500 I had no choice so I had them fix it then after two weeks they said they had it fixed but that I needed a new gear for the PTO because it was wrong they told me which one I needed so I replaced it took it to them then they called me and said that it was wrong also so I had to replace it with another. Got my truck back and the first time I kicked the electric PTO on it shorted out because they smashed the power wire between the PTO and the case. I called them and explained what happened and they told me it wasn't their fault to go kick Rocks.
