Everything went really well at first. The guys came but they were 45 minutes late. It wasn’t too big of a deal but still annoying. They came and loaded everything, made sure to ask us if they were forgetting anything before they left. When they were done we planned to meet them at the new place. Well we get there and 20 minutes go by with the movers no where in sight. We called them and they had went to lunch. Ok, we understand but they should’ve told us. Another 20 minutes go by before they show up again. While they were moving stuff they kept disappearing for 10-15 minutes. At one point electricians were working on the building and triggered the fire alarm. During the whole ordeal none of us heard from them or saw them. When they finally reappeared I asked one of the guys if he had been in the elevator when the alarm went off. He replied, “The fire alarm went off? I didn’t hear it.” Everyone of us heard him say it. There is no possible way he didn’t hear it. We heard it even when we went outside, before we knew it was a false alarm. Where was he when it happened??? Before they were finished the guy had us pay him because he didn’t stop the clock at lunch so the rest of the time they were moving would count for the time they were at lunch and didn’t stop the clock. He then told my mom if they went over the time it was ther fault and we wouldn’t have to pay anymore. When they finished they had broke one thing but it was really old so we weren’t that upset about it. We had a desk with an attached shelf on top which was secured by screws. They unscrewed it to move the two pieces separately but never put it back. We never got the screws back and didn’t notice it until we decided to rearrange later in the day. About 20 minutes after they had “left” the guy comes back to collect more money saying that he shouldn’t have checked my mom out before they were done. My mom didn’t fall for it and told his boss about all the times they weren’t even moving and disappeared and about the time they went to lunch without informing us. Even after that they tried to get us to pay more but we refused. The whole ordeal at the end was annoying and I wouldn’t recommend them at all.
